Fashion Friday – My Style – A Summer Dress

My wardrobe needs a massive update!  Not only am I in need of some new Summer fashion but am quickly needing some outfits to house my rapidly expanding baby belly!  Baby Number 3 seems to have made my belly pop much sooner than usual.

Of course first on my list is a few dresses.  I am a massive fan of dresses.  In fact that it why I hate winter so much!  Too many days of jeans and pants! 

The first dress on the list is the 

THE DAYTIME EVENT DRESS

I need something light and easy to wear that is a little dressier than my day to day school Mum wardrobe.  Something to wear to  work events, christmas concerts, church, lunch with the girls.  I found three contenders, all colourful, cut in a flattering style and a great length to cover my horrendous knees!  BONUS they are all under $100 and all from Birdsnest’s new brand “That Bird Label”  LOVE LOVE LOVE Every dress in their range!

THE CASUAL DRESS

The next contenders need to take me from school drop off to ballet lessons to grocery shopping.  You know all of those glamorous places!  A big bonus here would be a dress that would see me through the entire pregnancy and maybe even after the baby joins us too! So comfortable and stretchy are a must!  These ones I don’t mind if they are sleeveless as I remember how hot it gets when you are in and out of the car all day, 6 months pregnant in the height of a Queensland Summer!

Anyone who knows me will see that first dress and say “that is so you!”  And oh it is!  I could literally buy it in every colour!  Did I mention I love pockets! I actually love the patterns over the plains as it is easier to hide creases! The last two are not my normal styles but I think they would be a great throw on on stinking hot days!

Lori Fit and Flare Dress

Seriously the horses!  This is my favourite style of dress, I am such a fit and flare girl!

So what say you?  Unfortunately I cant have them all so you have to help me decide and TODAY!!!!
