I’m grateful for…..Mummy Bloggers.
It’s been one of those weeks. You know the ones where you end up on a rollercoaster that you didn’t ask to be on, or pay for. Yet there you are, strapped in and screaming. Occasionally you may squeal with glee but mostly your hair ends up in your mouth, along with your stomach.
Amongst the weeks spew worthy moments were a crowd of Mummy bloggers, joining me on my ride, cheering me on, holding my hand and making me snort my coffee (you know who you are)
As a blogger you often find yourself at the top of the roller coaster, after a great day of lovely comments, and blog love by those you admire. But it is inevitable that you will have to fall from those dizzying heights, and thankfully there will be a host of Mummy bloggers at the bottom to catch you, to support you, to motivate you and give you the strength to take on the next ascent.
They will be your seatbelt holding you close to safety as your life whirls around you. The face that appears more freaked out then yours will belong to them, for they are sitting right next to you, maybe even squeezing your hand, as you ride the craziness together.
When you are about to cry because this ride is wilder than the merry go round you hoped for, they will have you in hysterics with their witty anecdotes and tales of motherhood mishaps. You will sit together pre ride a million miles apart both writing and be thinking each others thoughts and words.
So this week I am so very grateful for this great big bloggy world. For the friends I have found through it are simply amazing in their never ending generosity, support, advice, laughter and words of wisdom. As the rollercoaster comes to the end of it’s course, I will breath a sigh of relief. Another day endured, enjoyed and conquered all with a little help from my friends.
